Have needed this for a long while. Using my debit card more frequently means no access to check duplicates or the register. This works great.

I do not usually write reviews on apps, but this one has saved me time AND money! Long gone are the days I have to remember once I am home, to find my check register and balance to my bank. I can sit in my car or stand around and add expenses or income and everyone thinks I am just texting on my phone! No more forgotten receipts! Yay!!!

I absolutely love this app. Keeps me so organized.

This app is a lifesaver. I was one of the last paper and pen check register users. I ran out of registers so I went to my local bank and the teller had no idea what a register was. I shrugged and tried again at a later date yet another teller had no idea what a register was. So I decided to finally use a app. I checked a few and this one had the most consistent reviews. After using it for months I still love it. UI could use a update but its SUPER functional. Only issue I have its when you toggle off the hide reconcile it doesnt work anymore.

Ive had this app for awhile and it was outstanding when working properly. But back in February this year, it just has this annoying glitch that would not add up my balance correctly. So it completely defeats the purpose. Ive even tried to purchase the newer version but no luck. Ive tried to contact the maker twice now and have had no replies. Im also forced to use the free app version vs. the previous paid app version because that stopped working too (as other reviews have already noted).

This is a great app for balancing your accounts. Its simple to use and makes it easy to stay current with my accounts.

No need for ledgers anymore with this app, and no need to save receipts until you get home. I can do it all right on the spot.

The app works fine and does its intended job. However, I would like to see more category choices. (Bills, car payments etc) Also, why cant a fancy app like this proofread properly? What is restuarant anyway?

Ive had this app for over 2 years and had no problem with it until just a few months ago. When I was balancing my checkbook Ive noticed that my balance have been off by a penny. It happened again today. To fix it I had to add a penny to one of my transaction just so my balance would match with my bank account. I hope somebody reads the reviews and fix the app somehow.

Everything worked fine until the lastest upgrade to the iOS system ... now my reconciled transactions cannot be viewed even if I uncheck to hide them ... please fix this as I often need to go back and look at previous expenses.

I love this app. Its just what I was looking for to replace my pen and paper check register. It allows me to quickly consolidate my account with my bank statement and lets me see where my money is going. I can also back up the info to my Dropbox or email.

I just downloaded the free version and established my one account with outstanding items and it reconciles to my checkbook register. Yeah! BUT, there is nowhere that it reconciles to my bank balance. Why is that? Program should be able to provide reconciliation to bank balance by adding back open expenses and subtracting open income. I need to see both to have confidence that my accounting is correct. That is, there should be a Register Balance AND a Recociled Account Balance. Programmers should get a hold of a printed bank statement because they have the reconciliation logic right on the back. Also, app does not rotate to landscape. That it is a problem for iPad app. I know I use calculator and bank apps in landscape to take advantage of the bigger screen. These are my initial thoughts. I have not used reports, etc. yet.

I used to use this app for finances but now you have to buy it.

Have used this app for awhile and found it to be fairly good, although the recurring transactions dont "recur" like they are supposed to. I have to re-enter them regularly. Just got a new phone and when I re-installed this app, all of my transactions were gone! Not good, but I guess my fault because I didnt pay to upgrade for the dropbox back-up (assumed it backed up on iTunes). Anyway, just paid to upgrade, but the back-up with dropbox doesnt work. I get an error message every time. Waste of money and time.

The application is easy to use some complexity features that are easily figured out. Little pricey and add on application features need to spend extra.

This app is a great idea! It automatically does the math for you. It has really handy features, and is very user-friendly. With the backup options, its easy to feel confident that your info wont be lost. This app has completely replaced the need for a paper transaction register. It makes it so easy to keep up with my spending.

I have been using Checkbooks (the free version because I have only needed to deal with one checking account) for years now, and its always been great! Until....... last update that is. I started noticing that my balance was off by 1 cent. And it could have been 1 cent more than my bank one day, and 1 cent less the next. Occasionally it would be right, but more often than not it was wrong. I checked and checked for a mistake on my part but when doing additions it seems to sometimes add them correctly and other times its off. And putting in a reconciliation of 1 cent only fixes it for that time you are using the app. Close it (remove it from active apps) and reopen it and it could be off by 1 cent again! And you never know if its more or less than your actual balance until you check with the bank. Now I know what you are saying, "its only 1 cent" or at least Ive said that for months now because I do love this simple app. BUT how can I be certain? Today its 1 cent but what if tomorrow it causes an unnecessary bounced check? If I wanted to do that, Id use the paper counterpart and screw up the math myself! No thanks, that makes this app only free if you dont bounce a check, otherwise its $35 per mistake! Ive sent a bug report to the developer, but not heard anything back (as others have mentioned). So Im afraid its the delete button for this app after years and years of happy transactions.

I have several accounts at several institutions but I needed to track one specifically so I chose this app for my iPhone. Easy to master, the free version only allows one account but thats all I needed. May get the paid version and move all my accounts from my desk top to my phone. So far, Im a happy camper.

Im writing this quick review just to say that I paid the full $2.99 just to find out that it doesnt come with the Dropbox backup option. I would think that paying the full price would come with all possible options - but beware - it does not. Now I need to pay an additional $1.99 for that service. Not happy
