Doesnt Reconcile to Bank Balance

I just downloaded the free version and established my one account with outstanding items and it reconciles to my checkbook register. Yeah! BUT, there is nowhere that it reconciles to my bank balance. Why is that?

Program should be able to provide reconciliation to bank balance by adding back open expenses and subtracting open income. I need to see both to have confidence that my accounting is correct. That is, there should be a Register Balance AND a Recociled Account Balance. Programmers should get a hold of a printed bank statement because they have the reconciliation logic right on the back.

Also, app does not rotate to landscape. That it is a problem for iPad app. I know I use calculator and bank apps in landscape to take advantage of the bigger screen.

These are my initial thoughts. I have not used reports, etc. yet.
