Checkbook - Ledger App Reviews

I have been looking for an app to replace an Excel template I currently use to manage my checkbook. I looked at several. This seemed to be the most promising. While it is a good start, it lacks a few key features. I was hoping I could reconcile (balance) my bank statement each month with the app. Unfortunately, that is not posslble. I am not certain how useful a checkbook app is without this feature. I dont need cheque records after 6 or 12 months. There is no way to delete a range of cheques by date. For instance, to delete cheques more than a year old. I can only imagine the size of the data file after a few years. Apparently, the developer hopes to add these features. Unitl then, the app is little more than a novelty. It is also interesting that, even though I have upgraded to the paid version, I was not able to write a review of it. Itunes does not recognize that I have the paid version.

I like this app but wish it would sync between my ipad and iPhone. It is easy to use but I hate having to do double entries in phone and iPad.

I use this app everyday just wish it had an option to send a notification when a reoccurring bill is due other than that its great.

Tried half a dozen similar apps and this is the one Im keeping.

Simpe counter limited to only one currency Demo is limited to 1 account only, so impossible to check account transfers.

I really like this app. Its exactly what I needed. Since I am obsessed with my phone it makes it super easy to keep track of my balances. Yay!!

I have used this App for years to keep track of my money. Very good app!

My recurring transactions never pop up on the date I have set. I end up having to manually add them like I do all other transactions. Then when my account and the app balances dont match, I have to go look and find where the app finally decided to add the recurring transaction for me and delete it since I already manually added it. If it wasnt for this every single time I have a recurring transaction thats supposed to be there, Id give it 5 stars.

I have been using the paid version for years. I love it. Now it no longer works and is not in the store. The free version works but I paid for the good one. Seriously need some answers. It also keeps disappearing from my purchased app list.

Its user-friendly and I dont have to carry my checkbook register everywhere. Its actually better this way bc I can reconcile much quicker if need be.

I never write checks do this replaces my check register for all my transactions.

KNOCK KNOCK Does anyone who made this app even read these things!!! Or do you simply just ignore feedback!! Update still working well. However there is still no landscaping mode as an option for this app. Apparently does the design and maintain this app are in different does the reviews!! I like the app so far. However it does need some work. Being able to make everything a larger print would be great. Being able to choose between landscaping mode or portrait mode on my iPad would be nice too. I would rather use landscaping mode. I dont know when or how often you make updates to your apps. But Im still waiting and hoping you make the changes I requested with a vision problem these changes are needed ! Thank you

I have always struggled to balance my checkbook. This has made it incredibly easy plus I can track trends in my spending. (When it gets out of control). Keep up the great work!

This happened during the last update of iOS 10. I went to reconcile the checks and my balance was off so I went back to unhide the reconciled ones and they are not there. However if I look in the search engine for that particular check it will show up. I have emailed the company three times and havent gotten a reply. I did pay for this app and have had it for years and loved it. Now Im worried Ill have to get another app. I just wish somebody would contact me and let me know if theyre working on it as its been along time since Theyve updated the app anyways.
